Deer Hunting Faqs

HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR UPCOMING HUNT with us?

we only hunt each property 3 times a year typically spread out from Sept-Dec.

Kansas is a draw system, in past years it has been about 50% odds that you’ll get drawn with no preference point. Nearly 100% odds you’ll get drawn with 1 preference point.

We have bow hunts, rifle hunts, and black powder hunts.

There is no size restrictions, although we really stress for our hunters not to shoot anything under 130” as if your patient most of our hunters will have opportunities on a mature whitetail. We are more concerned about mature deer being taken than an antler size restriction.

Typically it is very common to see 130-140” deer on our properties and on cell cam. 150”+ deer are common but not always in numbers.

So far it is 100% for 2024, although we don’t like to advertise that number, we’d say a healthy success rate is 70% on average.

Our main lodge is in Yates Center, KS. We also have lodging in Nevada, Mo and Neosho, Mo

We lease roughly 7k acres in Kansas, and 2k in Missouri.

We are 100% free range hunts in Kansas and Missouri

We have property in unit 11 and 14, unit 14 is our primary unit.

We will take down your name, email, and phone number and add you to our list of hunters. We will send out an email and call you January 1st letting you know books are open and give you the chance to send us a 25% deposit, and pick 2 sets of preferred hunt dates. You will then put in for the draw in April, which we can assist you with, once results come back, if you drew a tag you will then confirm which sets of dates you are hunting and send another 25% deposit. Remaining balances will be due Sept 1st. If you don’t draw a tag you are able to hunt Missouri, or be refunded your deposit.

For 2025 we are only taking in 25 hunters, it really is first come first serve, no spots will be held without a deposit. Every hunter will be given a fair chance at booking on January 1st.

If you don’t draw a tag in Kansas, you can either put your deposit towards a Missouri hunt which is OTC, or be refunded your deposit.
