WHAT TO EXPECT
When joining us at Split Wing you can expect to be hunting waterfowl in a wide variety of properties including dry grain fields, cattle ponds, sheet water, sloughs, and creeks.
We typically hunt once per day in the morning or sometimes in the evening, If the morning hunt doesn’t go as planned we will do our best to put together a good evening hunt.
Here at Split Wing Outfitters, you can expect to shoot a variety of puddle ducks (Mallards, Gadwall, Pintail, Wigeon, etc.) along with Lesser and Greater Canada Geese, Specklebelly Geese, Ross Geese, and Snow Geese. We shoot quite the mixed bag and have great opportunities of putting our clients on their bird of choice!
